We probably won't get Logan because Kaitlin does not like blondes. I am not sure why. But unless she changes as she grows older, I don't want to purchase a $50 doll that won't get used. But I think she will enjoy Skylar and Lindy (if they make her). Honestly, I would love the boy dolls. I wonder if they want to make these. I did not see that rainbow activity board on the website. Maybe it is retired???

I have all the books but had to draw a line on collection of the dolls after Bitty, the Twins, the historical AG's, historical Friends, LE's, and wanting my one Asian AGT. I explained to Diana that we just were not going to start another collection of a different kind of doll.

Originally, I thought they were very expensive, and too much of a body style like Barbie, and once I saw them Ijust didn't like the jointed bodies. I know lots of people that like them, but I just never cared for the smirk either, that some of you find adorable.

Actually, I'm proud of myself that I was able to say "NO" to at least one thing AG. Even with the code, I have not been tempted at all. Whew! It hasn't been quite so easy with everything else!

OK, I saw the rainbow board is on sale page. Yes, Laurie, I have resigned that Kaitlin is growing up all AG. I bet the have us in a file under SUCKERS! I know Fisher Price does because my insane purchases of the Little People.

I am in the sucker file too. My daughter is destined to become an AG junkie.

I did the little people thing. Now I am on Thomas the Tank Engine for Benjamin and am darkening the threshold of Playmobil. I am a sick obsessive completist and am going to travel down another dark and dirty trail.

I wonder if there is a vaccination for this.

Playmobil rocks! We all (my sister, brother and myself) loved Playmobil. My sister's Victorian dollhouse is still in the basement and my mom brings it up whenever children come to visit. That's definately a collection worth starting! [img]wink.gif[/img] My two little boy cousins also enjoyed Playmobil when they were younger.

I just ordered Hallie and Gwen. I am holding out for Lindy. I still have hope they will make her and the other children. I would love to see some of the boy dolls too. I just think they are such a nice alternative to Barbie and I love the concept behind the doll. I think kindergarden/first grade is such a wonderful time for children. They are still so innocent. I am hoping this might make a good segway to the 18" Samantha doll that we have all ready for Kaitlin. If anyone has these products, can you give me some feed back on them. I know OSusannah said not too many people like these dolls.

I have Hallie and Logan.... actually Elisabeth does, the teacher's kit and the playground kit, two flowerpot desks, the chalk board and assorted outfits.

Elisabeth at 5 and in kindergarten loves these dolls. I have posted before that I fear retirement since they are losing floor space in NYC and they issued Lindy's book, outfit and accessories without the doll.

I plan on completing her set because of the story lines and the play value. I would be sad to see these go!!

we have hallie. She is bautiful and my dd loved her a lot.
Some draw backs. Too hard for her to sleep with and the doll had a tendancy to pinch her fingers in the joints. This happened enough that she stopped playing with her altogether. She was very hard for kira to get her dressed, the limbs had no stopping point to act as a pressure for her.
But she is a beautiful doll and her book was lovely.
Hallie worked very well if her limbs were covered.
